Supply and Demand Chains

In this day and age of e-tailing, web ordering it is key that companies can react quickly to a customer order. Not in stock today can mean a lost sale as the prospective customer can go to other sellers on the web and place an order with a supplier who has it in stock.

To this end a supply chain is not adequate to cope with this growing way of buying. Supply chain indicates it is the seller who is in charge. This may be the case for Morgan cars and Aston Martin, who are in the enviable position of having full order books with delivery when they state. For the majority of companies this is not the case and response is the key.

Visology can undertake audits of client requirements, including market analysis as to what the competition offer. Working in conjunction with the client and suppliers we can audit the both the internal and external processes and turn a supply chain into a more customer focused demand chain.
